What Length Should I Hem My Jeans To?

Updated by David Boyle

The best way to figure out what size leg length you would want for your jeans is to measure your best fitting pair of jeans based on this sizing chart here.

Once you have figured out the desired length of your jeans, you can decide if you want to add more length for cuffing your selvage denim. If you want to add more leg length so that you can cuff your jeans, we recommend sizing up by 1" in the leg.

You do not need to worry about shrinkage when determining your inseam length. All of our raw denim is sanforized so there is minimal shrinkage. For the denim that does have shrinkage, we will add the necessary length on our end when hemming the jeans so that you do not have to.
